TAIF, 12 October 2005 — A bank employee’s slip could have cost him dear, but for an upstanding Saudi. The Saudi had gone to the bank to deposit SR10,000. The teller by mistake entered into the account that the money deposited was SR20,000, Al-Watan reported. The Saudi discovered the discrepancy only on reaching home, but he saved the employee from a host of problems by returning to the bank and rectifying the mistake.
