Women Welfare Society to Hold Charity Event

JEDDAH, 14 October 2005 — The Women Welfare Society will be holding its annual Ramadan charity event tomorrow and Sunday night at 10 p.m. at the Intercontinental Hotel. The event will be held under the auspices of Princess Hessa Al-Shaalan, wife of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. This year’s theme is “Ramadan around the world” and it will feature the customs and traditions of different countries during Ramadan. Besides Saudi Arabia, the other countries to be represented are Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, Sudan, Iran, Turkey, Senegal, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Brunei and Indonesia. Tickets will be available at the door for SR100.
