Pariah developed by digitalextremes and groove games a gives you the role of Dr. Jack Mason, an on field medic required to escort Katrina, a prisoner infected with a deadly unknown virus. During the mission, your transport is shot down and you find yourself infected with the deadly virus and your subject kidnapped. In This review we’ll explore graphics, sounds, multiplayer and gameplay.

Graphics:

Pariah graphics are good but not revolutionary. The environments are well detailed and rich in colors. The character models and vehicle designs are up to standard. In addition, the visual effects such as explosions are impressive. On the other hand, cut-scenes are poorly constructed and lack details. Score: 8/10

Sounds:

Pariah’s sounds are decent. The music is enjoyable and impressive from the beginning title. On the other hand, sound effects and voice acting tend to be weak to average. Score: 7/10

Multiplayer:

The available multiplayer modes in Pariah are Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Frontline Assault with a 16 player limit and the capability to add bots. Overall, there is nothing unique about pariah’s multiplayer feature.

Score: 7/10

Gameplay:

To start, Pariah’s storyline is weak, not compelling and boring. In addition the slow pace of the game hinders the excitement. The AI is simply naïve and dull. As for weapons, the selection available is plenty although most of the weapons are not effective. Players can enhance their weapons by upgrading them. The controls can sometimes be jerky especially with the vehicles. Then again, the physics are pretty good and noteworthy. Score: 6/10

To finish off, with poor sounds, multiplayer and a boring gameplay Pariah lacks the essential elements to make a game enjoyable. I hardly recommend this game. Overall Score: 7/10
