Cockroach Closes Restaurant for the Second Time

UNAIZA, 1 November 2005 — For the second time in two weeks, a cockroach was responsible for closing down a restaurant, Okaz reported. A citizen discovered a cooked cockroach inside a pie he bought from the restaurant. Outraged after eating half the snack, he called the restaurant to complain. He was even more outraged when the restaurant owner told him that cockroaches were full of protein and he would have no problems eating it. He filed an official complaint to the municipality which ordered the restaurant to close for three days and imposed a fine of SR 5,000.
