The Simply StorageWorks Road Show will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh on Nov. 21 starting at 8:30 a.m. HP will be bringing its storage experts to the Kingdom to demonstrate to attendees at the event:
• How to protect data from user, software and hardware errors;
• That networked storage is affordable for any business;
• That companies don’t need full time storage experts on staff to deploy and maintain networked storage.
As part of the Simply StorageWorks initiative, this road show will enable companies to have an in-depth view of HP’s three comprehensive programs: My First SAN, Easy as NAS and Ultimate Business Protection.

Microsoft Arabia Names Marketing Manager
Microsoft Arabia has appointed Mustafa Younes as marketing manager for its operations in the Kingdom. Mustafa has over 15 years experience in the sales and marketing of software applications — applying technology in fields such as finance and telecommunications. Previously he worked for global organizations in Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Tunisia and Algeria.
Dr. Khaled Al-Daher, Microsoft Arabia GM, welcomed the new marketing manager saying, “Mustafa Younes is not a fresh comer to the GCC markets. He has worked for IT and Telecom companies, meaning that he will have outstanding experiences to drive and support the sales and marketing team in Microsoft Arabia and its partners in the Kingdom.”
Younes contributed to Microsoft Arabia’s efforts during GITEX and supported the company’s community activities during Ramadan. Following up on Arab News’ recent article focused on software piracy, Younes recommends that consumers click to www.howtotell.com to find out if the Microsoft applications they are using at home or at work are pirated or original.
