YCC Produces 3,000 Tons of Cement

YANBU, 9 November 2005 — The new production line for Yanbu Cement Company (YCC) produced more than 3,000 tons of cement. This drove the price down and covered the shortage in the local market, Riyadh newspaper reported. This will reduce imports of cement from Ukraine and Egypt and will also drive the prices down by SR15 per bag.
