ALKHOBAR, 13 November 2005 — Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Al-Angari has said that the ministry is preparing to offer 5,000 scholarships to male and female Saudi students at the beginning of the new Hijra year. The minister said that the majority of applicants were men and that only a few women had applied.
