CAIRO, 16 November 2005 — Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, arrived here yesterday on an official visit to Egypt. In an arrival statement, he emphasized the strong relations between the two Arab countries.
“I am confident that my talks with President Hosni Mubarak and senior Egyptian officials will strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in different fields, serving the interests of Arab and Islamic nations,” the Saudi Press Agency quoted the prince as saying.
Prince Sultan was received at the Cairo airport by Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif and other top officials.
