YANBU, 26 November 2005 — A Yemeni man was arrested recently after being caught cross-dressing inside a female educational institution, Okaz newspaper reported. A teacher who noticed his manly movements and hairy legs, confronted him. He continued to protest his feminine gender, which could not be ascertained, as his face was covered with a niqab. She immediately called security and they arrested him. Despite his arrest he continued to deny that he was a man. Police are still trying to find out the man’s motive for dressing up in an abaya.
