GENTEC Proves Its Capability

GENTEC, the ‘GENeral TEChnical’ division of Haji Abdullah Alireza & Co. Ltd., a 100 percent Saudi-owned company, has proven its capability by completing several projects across Saudi Arabia.

It has “successfully completed” projects in the areas including computer, telephone, telex, aeronautical communications, UHF/VHF radios, microwave radio communications, data and fiber optic, CCTV/CATV, security and fire alarm, fire fighting, audiovisual, and voice recording and voice processing systems, according to Sadek Husayni, general manager of GENTEC Telecommunication System & Services.

“At GENTEC, we realize the importance of communicating local conditions to overseas manufacturers. In that we fulfill a vital function that helps to direct R&D efforts to the benefit of our clientele and manufacturers as well,” Husayni said.

The result is a strong alliance with a long list of prominent manufacturers,” he added. The list includes Andrew USA, EON Communication USA, Frequentis Austria, JRC Japan, MEISEI Japan, MITEL Canada, Superior Essex USA, and Rohde & Schwarz Germany.

Over the years, GENTEC has emerged as one of the market leaders in telecommunication systems and services having its head office in Jeddah, regional offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and Alkhobar, and liaison office in London.

Haji Abdullah Alireza holds Contractor’s Classification No. 1, which qualifies GENTEC to execute large-size projects in the operation and maintenance of electronics.

GENTEC has also received Quality Standards ISO9001:2000 Certification in 2001 and continued its forward-thinking perspective by improving and applying a systematic approach to the management.
