Man Consumed by Flames of Love

QATIF, 27 December 2005 — A man set himself on fire and ran across a football field because he heard that the woman he loved is going to marry another man, the Al-Watan daily reported. The heartbroken man was extinguished by a group of footballers, but not before 70 percent of his body was burned. He was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The man had earlier stabbed a groom for trying to marry the woman that he loves.
