Kanoo Travel Bid to Save PAL Flights

RIYADH, 9 January 2006 — Kanoo Travel pledged yesterday its full support to the Philippine Airlines (PAL) during a meeting between the airline’s management staff led by Middle East Country Manager Celso Dapo and manager for sales and services Ricky Solomon L. Pacquing. Representatives of different Filipino community groups were also present. “PAL is a symbol for all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the Kingdom and it is a matter of pride for them if it continues flying between Manila and Riyadh, serving the loyal OFWs who have been patronizing it all these years,” said S. I. Amaladoss, regional travel manager of Kanoo Travel, the general sales agent (GSA) of PAL in the Kingdom.
