RIYADH, 22 January 2006 — Mobile communication services company Mobily has built a network that covers 49 cities and towns, hundreds of villages and more than 2,000 kilometers of highway since its inception in May 2005, the company announced yesterday. Mobily maintains a national roaming agreement with the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) for areas not covered by its network. The company now maintains 1,700 base stations and has signed major contracts with Alcatel, Huauwai, Motorola, and Ericsson.
