Pliers Cure Toothache If Dentists Don’t

HAIL, 25 February 2006 — Pliers. This is what a 77-year-old man used to cure a toothache, Al-Madinah daily reported. Facing terrible pain, the man went to see a dentist. The dentist, however, wasn’t in so much of a hurry and prescribed a lengthy treatment, which the man did not want to go through. The old man then went to several other dentists looking for emergency dental treatment only to discover that there is no such thing as emergency dental care. Exasperated, the man finally did what only somebody who is crazy in pain would even consider: he convinced his son to pull out the offending tooth with a pair of old pliers.
