JEDDAH, 28 February 2006 — Filipinos in the Eastern Province and Najran and neighboring areas who have business to transact with the Philippine mission are advised to get ready.
For those in the Eastern Province, a team from the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will be in Alkhobar on March 2-3.
The team will hold office at the Al-Bustan Hotel to receive applications from 9 a.m.-12 noon and from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on March, and from 9 a.m.-12 noon on March 3.
The embassy is also inviting OFWs who have yet to register as overseas absentee voters (OAV) to come and sign up so that they can vote in the 2007 Philippine national election.
Registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 2 and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on March 3
On March 1-3, a mobile consular team from the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah will be in Najran also for consular services and absentee voting registration.
The team will be headed by Consul General Pendosina N. Lomondot and will hold office at Okhdood Hotel.
