JEDDAH, 12 April 2006 — Deputy President of General Presidency of Youth Welfare Prince Nawaf ibn Faisal has named the national youth football team to represent Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup finals 2006 in India. The team will enter their third training camp starting tomorrow up to April 28 in Riyadh.
The 27 players to train and prepare for the Asian Cup on recommendation of national team coach Jilson Nunis are as follows: Abdulla Al-Mayouf, Abdulaziz Al-Kaltham, Ahmed Al- Fardi, Salim Al-Khamis, Abdulaziz Al-Dousari and Khalid Sharahili (Al-Hilal); Hassan Shian, Saeed Al-Issa, Saad Haddadi, Ali Otaif and Ahmed Al-Kaabi (Al-Shabab); Mishaal Al-Mutairi, Badr Al-Khalif and Ibrahim Al- Sharahili (Al-Nasr); Mohammed Al-Sahlawi, Murtada Al-Saffar and Ayid Al-Sihimai (Al- Qadisiya); Alaa Rishani, Nassir Al-Silami and Motazz Al-Moussa (Al-Ahli); Aqeel Al-Garni and Talal Aseeri (Al-Ittihad); Abdulaziz Al- Dousari and Mubarak Al-Asmari (Al-Wehda); Ahmed Dalh (from Wajj); Salman Al-Hariri (Al-Noor); and Hussain Al-Juwaiher (Al-Fath).
