BHOPAL, 24 April 2006 — A memorandum was submitted to Madhya Pradesh Gov. Dr. Balram Jakhar on Saturday seeking the dismissal of the Bharatiya Janata Party state government in the backdrop of the postponement of the Budhni bypoll following the charge of violation of the model code of conduct and misuse of official machinery found true by the Election Commission.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is contesting the election from the Budhni assembly constituency.
The memorandum was submitted by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) delegation to the governor.
Manak Agarwal, general secretary and spokesman of MPCC, led the delegation accompanied by Ramnarayan Tenguriya, Virendra Khongal, Haider Yaar Khan and Chandrakant Dube.
Addressing a press conference here Manak Agarwal said Chief Minister Chouhan and his 20 Cabinet colleagues were indulging in serious violation of the model code of conduct and misuse of official machinery in Budhni oblivious of their constitutional responsibilities.

Ali Arab News NEW DELHI — Amid ongoing talks by Samajwadi Party to form a Third Front minus Congress and BJP, the suspended Samajwadi Party MP Raj Babbar has launched a political outfit named Jan Morcha. It is an extension of Kissan Morcha launched a few years ago by former Prime Minster V.P. Singh.
The Jan Morcha will fight for the rights of farmers, youths, women and deprived sections, said Raj Babbar who will be the president of the new outfit.
Launching the party before a press meet, former Prime Minister V.P. Singh said the new party would be the political front of the Kisan Morcha.
Representatives of many smaller parties have extended their support to the initiative taken by the former prime minister. “For some time, Kisan Morcha has been struggling for the problems faced by farmers, weavers, laborers, youths and women.
A meeting of the manch was held here on Saturday which decided to send its representatives to state assemblies and Parliament to effectively raise their voice. “Therefore, it was decided to have a political branch and its name would be Jan Morcha,” V.P. Singh announced.
