BEIRUT, 31 May 2006 — Prominent Lebanese singer Nawal Al-Zoughbi will arrive in Kuwait in mid-June to hold a special charity concert for the international organization “Sun Good” that is specialized in treating children with cancer.
All the proceeds from the concert will go directly to the charity.
Al-Zoughbi has released her latest music video for the single “Shu Akhbarak” (What is Your News), with young director Randa, marking their first cooperation together. Filming took place in Lebanon over a period of two days.
“This song is romantic, and matches the atmosphere of winter to reflect a beautiful love story,” stated Nawal. The album is scheduled for release in three months.
The singer revealed that the reason she chose this particular song to release as a single was that it moved her to the point of bringing tears to her eyes when she heard it for the first time.
Nawal was careful in deciding upon the details of the clip, selecting the pictures and colors that she felt were most suitable.
