JEDDAH, 5 June 2006 — Saudi Football Federation Deputy-President Prince Nawaf ibn Faisal, has named the national youth team to represent the Kingdom at the Gulf Cooperation Council Championship (GCC) soccer tournament.
The Kingdom is to host the youth championship scheduled for July 10 to 23 in Abha.
The players picked to enter training camp in Riyadh from June 8 to 15 were: Sultan Al-Bishi, Raid Al-Sowailih, Ragi Fallatah, Nawaf Al-Ayid and Abdullah Al-Sidairi (Al-Hilal); Mohammed Hazzazi (Nasr); Nawaf Mohammed and Abdulrahman Al-Ghanim (Shabab); Naif Al-Inizi and Fahd Al-Doussari (Qadeseyah; Yehya Al-shihri and Mohammed Al-Sharif (Ittifaq); Khalid Awaji, Yehya Daghriri, Abdullah Qaissi and Abduililah Majrashi (Hittin); Thiniyyan Al-Matarafi (Wehda); Abdulaziz Al-Ahammari (Taie); Abdulla Al-Inizi (Arar); Abdulrahman Bukhari (Ahli) and Mohammed Abu Sabaan (Hajar).
