DUBAI, 30 June 2006 — The Compliance Division at the Dubai Department of Economic Development announced the launch of the “Hemaya” website (www.himaya.ae/hemaya) as part of its continuing efforts to improve consumer and trader awareness about products. The website highlights a variety of branded consumer products which can be duplicated by unprincipled traders. Consumers can access the new website through logging on www.himaya.ae/hemaya or www.dubaided.gov.ae.
