RIYADH, 6 July 2006 — A groom who had been dreaming his entire life of spending the first night with his wife in bliss in a golden love cage with the woman of his dreams was left utterly devastated when he ended up behind bars in jail, reported the Al-Madinah newspaper. The groom and his cousins were at a banquet hall making final preparations for the wedding when they fell into an argument with a worker. The argument escalated into a fistfight and the groom ended up beating the worker and smashing his mobile phone. Police quickly arrived and took the Saudi man to jail for assaulting the worker. In an interesting twist to the story, when the worker realized that the man who had assaulted him was the groom, he immediately forgave him. The Saudi man appreciated his kind gesture and bought the worker a new cell phone.
