ANB Opens New TeleMoney Centers

RIYADH, 11 July 2006 — Arab National Bank (ANB) recently opened a number of new TeleMoney Centers at Safa and Sharafiya in Jeddah, Naseem in Riyadh, Jizan and Qunfuda, Hail, Buraidah, Mubarraz, Azizia in Makkah and Manfouha.

“The new centers bring up to 32 the number of dedicated TeleMoney Centers (TMCs) spanning Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Alkhobar, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Ahsa, Madinah, Hail, Azizia Makkah, Buraidah, Khamis Mushayt, Tabuk, Taif, Jizan and Qunfuda. An electronic network connects all the centers to facilitate communication,” said Abdrabbuh Almajhed, the head of ANB’s TeleMoney remittance services. Almajhed said the bank plans to add 100 new TMCs, but didn’t provide a timeframe for the expansion.

ANB also operated an expedited money transfer service to Egypt, Sudan, Jordan and the Philippines.

ANB customers can remit funds in a swift, secure and convenient manner through dedicated TeleMoney Centers, and around the clock through Al-Arabi ATM network of 434 ATMs spanning all corners of the Kingdom, to covered countries. The bank also operates a remittance service to other uncovered countries through SWIFT.
