BALASMAR, 21 July 2006 — A group of hungry guests at a party in Balasmar, a small village in south, left their phones on a window sill due to poor phone-signals in the rest of the house, the Al-Madinah newspaper reported. What the guests failed to notice was that the window was unlocked. The host began serving food and the guests tucked into their meal oblivious of a passing thief who quietly opened the window and in one swipe stole the cell phones. After having ate to their fill the guests finally noticed that their phones were missing. With their bellies full the guests saw no point in running after the thief who by then was probably having his own mini feast celebrating his relatively easy catch.
