DAMMAM, 13 October 2006 — Two thieves robbed a shopkeeper of SR30,000 in the Badiya Street of Dammam on Wednesday, Al-Yaum newspaper reported yesterday.
According to police, a man entered the shop at 10 a.m. and after loitering around for a few minutes left the shop and returned a short while later with another man.
The shopkeeper initially thought the men were customers but soon realized they were robbers. The men knocked the shopkeeper down while they emptied the cash box that contained more than SR30,000 and a number of prepaid telephone cards.
