MANAMA, 13 November 2006 — Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) announced yesterday its intention to bid for one of two National Fixed Wireless Service (NFWS) licenses to be awarded by the Bahrain Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in January 2007.
