RIYADH, 12 February 2007 — Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has confirmed its independent coverage of new highways on the northern parts of Saudi Arabia to raise the length of highways covered by its own network to 20,000 kilometers in the whole Kingdom. The last one was the coastal highway of Wajh toward the north with the length of 110 km. Drivers or residents near Hail — Alula highways (240 km) can now be connected to their mobiles through Mobily network only. All villages on this highway are also covered.
Yanbu Cement Increases Dividend
RIYADH, 12 February 2007 — Yanbu Cement Co. said it will pay SR4 as dividend per share for the second half of 2006, making the total dividend of SR4.5 for the year after SR0.5 was paid in the first half. The company’s general assembly is scheduled to be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Jeddah on Feb. 21 to approve the payment of the dividend and the budget for 2006, according to a statement on the Tadawul website.
Al-Baha Elects New Board
RIYADH, 12 February 2007 — The Al-Baha Company for Investment and Development said a new nine-member board of directors was elected at the company’s general assembly meeting held on Feb. 10. The new board will have a three-year term. Appointment of new auditors for 2006 and 2007 was also approved.
