Al-Hozae, Chinese Firms Sign Deals

DAMMAM, 20 February 2007 — Al-Hozae Heavy Equipment Co. has won contracts for the exclusive dealership agency of two Chinese heavy equipment companies in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, Yemen, Jordan and Egypt.

Abdullah ibn Fahd Al-Hozae, president of the Al-Hozae Heavy Equipment Co., who is also deputy chairman of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce’s Committee for Contractors, told Arab News yesterday the SR200 million contracts were signed with two leading Chinese companies. The companies will supply bulldozers, earth movers, concrete mixers, pumps, cranes and machinery for asphalting, digging and farming.

Al-Hozae said the company, a subsidiary of the 54 year-old Nasser ibn Hozae & Brothers Group, signed the contracts.
