Authorities Allow Citizen to Deflate Tires

ASIR, 14 March 2007 — A resident here got so fed up with people parking in front of his building that he began flattening the tires of the vehicles, a local newspaper reported yesterday. Abdullah Ibn Farham, complained to authorities on numerous occasions to stop employees of the general department of boys’ education from parking in front of his house. After his pleas fell on deaf ears, Abdullah took his complaint to the Al-Namas Governor’s office where staff handed him an official letter that gave him permission to deflate the tires of cars parked in front of his building.
