PELG to Hold Meena Bazaar Today

RIYADH, 15 March 2007 — The Pakistan Embassy Ladies Group (PELG) will hold a Meena Bazaar today at the embassy premises in Riyadh. The event called Taleem Bank Bazaar will start at 4 p.m. and continue till 10 p.m. Entry ticket will cost SR3 per person while a raffle ticket will be available for SR10. There will be handicrafts, food and thrilling games. Ambassadors from 70 countries and their spouses are expected to attend the Bazaar. The entire proceeds from the event will be spent on the welfare of the poor and the needy Pakistanis. PELG spent SR80,000 last year on the education of deserving students. PELG is a welfare organization run by the wives of Pakistan Embassy officials.
