RIYADH, 28 March 2007 - Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, had donated $15,000 to the Muslin Women Lawyers for Human Rights, Karamah Organization's Annual Law and Leadership Summer Program, which has contributed to its success.

Irfana Anwar, Esq, executive director of the Karama Organization, in a letter to Prince Alwaleed, said the funds allowed the organization to develop one of its effective law and leadership programs to date, allowing women from all over the world to benefit from the unique experience.

The program was the most diverse in nature, rich in substance and content, and alive with ideas and debate, she said.

"This generous donation by the Prince helped the organization to be able to raise the expectations of the Muslim and mainstream American community and was a continuation of Prince Alwaleed's efforts to bridge the gap between East and West for better tolerance and understanding and the empowerment of women," she said.
