JEDDAH, 21 May 2007 — Frigidaire, the US-based home appliances company, has appointed Juffali Air-Conditioning & Home Appliances Company (JAHACO), a subsidiary of E.A. Juffali & Brothers Company, as its new authorized distributor in Saudi Arabia. “JAHACO’s goal is to become one of the largest Frigidaire distributors in the world,” a senior executive of the company told the media at a presentation at Laylaty Hall on Saturday night.
JAHACO, which claims to be a household name in the Kingdom for over 50 years in terms of appliances and air conditioners, owns one of the largest distribution, warehouses and maintenance networks in the country, and represents other major global brands in the Kingdom and elsewhere in the Middle East including Kelvinator, Carrier, Falcon and Harmony. Aside from distributing leading international brands, JAHACO distributes products of local factories like Saudi Refrigerators Manufacturing Company and Saudi Air-Conditioning Manufacturing Company.
“Frigidaire’s selection of JAHACO as its distributor in the Kingdom is an expression of trust and manifestation of leadership gained in a long history of selling appliances,” JAHACO General Manager Hassan Shahine said.
The Jeddah-based JAHACO has joined other Frigidaire global distributors in over 100 countries worldwide, further expanding the brand’s international presence. “It is just fitting that a trusted name in home appliances has selected an equally trusted name in the Arab business world,” he said.
With three main branches in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam and sub-branches in Asir and Qasim, JAHACO owns one of the largest distribution, warehouse and maintenance centers network across the Kingdom.
Its six maintenance centers manned by some 148 highly-skilled technicians and logistics personnel are “always ready to elevate our customers’ service to highest level,” Hassan Shahine pointed out.
JAHACO will now begin selling a full line of Frigidaire household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, cookers and dishwashers through its own retail stores and network of dealers throughout the Kingdom.

He said that several qualified companies vied to become the authorized dealer in the Kingdom, but “we believe that they (E.A.
