Tameer Opens Al-Naseem District, Wraps Up Sellout of Al-Salam City

SHARJAH, 19 June 2007 — Tameer Holding, the region’s leading real estate company, simultaneously announced yesterday the selling out of all its residential districts that were launched in March 2006 to date at Al-Salam City in Umm Al-Quwain, and the complete sellout of Al-Naseem (The Breeze) district that was launched on May 29, 2007. The recent launch came to meet the increased and unparalleled demand by customers and investors alike, wishing to purchase residential units Al-Salam City — considered a benchmark in the real estate development of the Northern Emirates.

To date, Tameer had successfully launched several residential districts at Al-Salam City including the all-apartment Al-Morooj district, the all-villa Al-Rawda district along with other districts such as, Al-Narjes, Al-Yasmeen, Al-Maha, Al-Waha 1, 2, and 3, and Al-Ferdous. All the districts consist of two- and three-bedroom townhouses.

To date, the total number of units sold has exceeded the 1500 units mark.

In March, Al-Salam City has witnessed the launch of Al-Waha 2, and in April Al-Waha 3 was launched, consisting of townhouses with 3 -bedrooms.

This was followed with the latest launch of Al-Naseem district on May 29 which brings the comprehensive option of 3 and 4 bedrooms. All these various districts have been sold out totaling up to 2000 units.

Ayesh stressed that Al-Salam City is impeccably designed according to the highest and safest international construction standards and features numerous assets that makes it the ideal place to live. Characterized by wide streets and large parking lots that make residents’ transportation and access much easier, Al-Salam City will also avail of a unique, state-of-the-art communications and information network with all the security, emergency, and social services. Executed in three phases, Al-Salam City ‘s project initial phase is scheduled for completion within the next three years. The investment cost of each phase stands at AED10 billion each, bringing it to a total investment of AED30 billion.

Situated 25 minutes away from the Dubai International Airport and strategically on the Emirates Road and the Pan-Emirates Road (currently under construction), the mixed-use Al-Salam City will form an integrated residential and commercial area, consisting of a number of residential and business districts. The development has been designed to house more than 350,000 residents with an estimated area of 220 million sq feet, with a frontage of approximately 7 kms on the Emirates Road.
