Knowledge Economy Forum in Jeddah

JEDDAH, 24 July 2007 — The chairman of the Jeddah Marketing Board Sami Bahrawi announced on Sunday that the board will hold an international knowledge economy forum in cooperation with the Arabian Knowledge Economy Association (AKEA) on Oct. 26 and 27 in Jeddah. Bahrawi signed the contract of organizing the forum with the representatives of AKEA. He said that different international and Arab icons will attend the forum in addition to international organizations specialized in creative strategies. He explained that the forum’s goal that aims to invest in people’s minds is the first step on the right track to boost the Saudi economy and drive it away from the typical economic circle to more advanced and developed economic environments.
