DHAHRAN, 20 August 2007 — Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi, who is also chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Aramco, said the state-owned oil company has maintained an excellent performance level.
At the introduction of the company’s annual report for 2006, which was released recently, he said “the company is not content with the trustworthiness in terms of its current assignments only but has also took the initiative in interacting with the future challenges.”
The report underscored Aramco’s successful operational trustworthiness by totally fulfilling its commitment of fuel supply in and outside the Kingdom.
Besides maintaining its outstanding performance, the challenges of the oil industry are being taken care of by adopting effective strategies in its domestic and international management, advance planning and executions for its major petroleum projects, Naimi said.
