DUBAI, 30 August 2007 — Association for International Management (AIMS) International, one of the largest executive search consultancies in the world with 85 offices in over 50 countries, has partnered with Talent Management Consultancy, a leading recruitment specialist in the Middle East to launch the biggest executive search hub in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.

The new hub will serve the entire global operations of AIMS International and will provide a wide variety of global human resource consultancy and executive search related solutions to the region. The global hub will operate out of its new offices in DIFC (Dubai International Financial City) and will serve over 45 multinational blue chip clients across the EMEA region as well as clients from across the globe through AIMS International network.

“Businesses in the Middle East and Africa are growing at an astounding rate. There is a need to source talent from across the world and to ensure that their growth is managed properly so that they maintain a competitive advantage. In high growth sectors, like oil and gas, infrastructure and development, real estate, banking and finance, there is a huge demand for qualified professionals with in-depth domain knowledge,” said Sandra Da Silva, managing director of Talent Management Consultancy.

“This is where AIMS International and Talent partnership can make the strategic difference, due to our global reach and partnership approach to our client’s business.”

AIMS has a global strategy which applies to all three business regions: the Americas, Asia- Pacific and EMEA. However, the way the global strategy is implemented will be unique to each region due to the culturally diverse nature of AIMS and our clients. “In the Middle East, we are targetting the real estate, automotive, financial services, fast-moving consumer goods FMCG, and retail, IT, pharmaceuticals and contracting and communication technology sectors. We are also offering payroll and administrative services in addition to our international bouquet of executive search services,” explained Roger Cater, president of Aims International.

Rolf Heeb, vice president of AIMS International and head of the company’s EMEA region, said: “The strong economic growth in Europe and the Middle East is fueled by high growth sectors such as real estate, pharmaceutical, banking and finance. This is combined with a shortage of talented senior and middle management positions and a dearth of truly international HR consulting firms in the region which are going to be strong growth drivers for our business in the EMEA region.”

“Our main USP is that we have a global presence along with a local approach to client servicing. We provide flexible services that are catered to the client’s needs and not the other way around. Combined with our quick response time, these are the defining factors which are going to drive our business forward in the region,” Da Silva said.

AIMS International is also introducing some firsts for the HR industry in the Middle East,” Da Silva added. “We offer our client’s line managers (irrespective of where they are based) the opportunity to access the details of potential candidates by using a sophisticated intranet software in real time. This is a revolutionary new way reducing time lag in taking care of a client’s requirements.”
