ALKHOBAR, 7 September 2007 — Thirty-six more Filipino workers in the Eastern Province have completed a four-Friday seminar training on Computer Assembly, Troubleshooting and Networking organized by Association of Computer Enthusiasts of Saudi Arabia (ACES) during the month of August.
Labor Attaché David Des T. Dicang and Welfare Officer Mr. Rolando Coquia, both from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Eastern Region Operations, handed over certificates of accomplishment to the participants during their graduation ceremony at the International Philippines School Alkhobar (IPSA) last Friday.
They were assisted by Andrew Nathaniel G. Santos, ACES adviser and chairman of Cybercoop.
The training, held on Aug. 10, 17, 24 and 31, was conducted by ACES Vice President Salvador Orbigo Jr.

Last month’s seminar series is the second by ACES in the last half of 2007, with three more lined up for the rest of the year, making it one of the most productive Filipino organizations in the Kingdom.
In July, 26 participants completed the seminar on business application software conducted by ACES, also for four Fridays.

Owing to popular demand, ACES has scheduled another four-Friday seminar on Computer Assembly, Troubleshooting and Networking on Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5.
The activity will run parallel to a seminar, also by ACES, on Digital Photography, Computer Graphics (Adobe Photoshop) and Web Development (Dreamweaver & Basic HTML), which will be conducted by Jose “Jojo” De Luna, Andrew N. Santos and Bien Santos.
Both seminars will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5 at the International Philippine School in Alkhobar. ACES is also open for accepting registration for Design Using AutoCAD (Oct. 12), Advance Networking with Server Administration (Oct. 12), Business Application (Nov. 16), and Industrial Automation (Dec. 14).
