JEDDAH, 8 December 2007 — Gold’s Gym starts its 3-on-3 basketball street ball tournament today. Over 80 players have signed up. Today 3 teams of junior boys will play.
Capt. Assad has more than 15 teams in the five-day basketball tournament. Gold’s Gym is becoming the leader in the basketball community assisting in tournaments, and providing training to men as well as women at their specialized basketball facilities. The sport of basketball has caught on and is growing fast in Jeddah. The interest that the gym has shown has given support to the youth in ways very much needed in the community. The games are from 6-10 p.m. Free membership will be awarded to the winners as well as trophies and prizes. For further information call 691-2077.
