JEDDAH, 9 January 2008 — The Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Cup football competition continues today when six round 2 matches on tap.
Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad meet in Riyadh in a potentially explosive match. Ahli host Wehda at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal in Jeddah. Ittifaq entertain Shabab in Dammam, Al-Qadisia host Al-Hilal in Dammam, Najran play hosts to Al-Hazem in Najran, while Tabuk-based Al-Watani are at home to Taie.
Round one of this competition saw Ahli win against Taie 3-0 in Hail, Hilal against Najran 3-0; Nasr against Wehda 3-1; Watani against Ittihad 2-1 and Shabab against Qadisia 1-0. Ahli are currently on top of Group A with 3 points and three goals, followed by Nasr in second position with 3 points and Al-Watani in third position with 3 points. Ittihad, Wehda and Taie are in fourth, fifth and sixth positions with no points. In Group -B, Hilal are on top with three points followed by Shabab in second position also with three points.
