The Western media are being very unfair when reporting the reality of the cruelty of Israelis against the Palestinians in Gaza. It’s a heart-breaking, painful tragedy. I believe that the Israeli blockade of Gaza is not only a military action, but is also a clear evidence of the brutality of the Zionist regime that doesn’t look for peace as much as it exacerbates the differences between Palestinian groups and factions. The situation in Gaza represents misery, not only for the Palestinians but also for all civilized people of the world.

The West is preoccupied with human rights issues in the Middle East and the collapse of the American economy when children of Gaza are dying because of the blockade. Hunger, cold, darkness, pain and blood covering women and children and many other traumas are part of the bigger picture.

The result: Condoleezza Rice, the US secretary of state, asks the Israeli government not to cause a humanitarian disaster in Gaza. The weirdest request that a politician could make! Doesn’t the current situation in Gaza represent a crisis according to Western standards by which they care for the rights of people and animals? Or is it that the Palestinian humans have different standards that suit the Zionist agenda?

The situation in Gaza represents a slap in the face of the civilized world. Children are living outdoors, women are dying from bullets and old people are freezing to death.

This is not a scene from a movie; it’s a horrible reality that exposes the weakness of the Arab world and shows the differences between one Palestinian and another.

The situation in Gaza is not just the result of the arrogance of the Zionists but also of the collapse of values and ethics in societies in the East and the West.
