PWS Holds Seminars in Jeddah, Taif

JEDDAH — The Pakistan Welfare Society organized a seminar at the Pakistan International School, Aziziyah, over the weekend. The seminar, aimed at helping Grade 12 Pakistani students plan their career, was attend by a large number of students. Dr. Faisal, head of chancery at the Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah, and Azad Iqbal, grandson of eminent poet Allama Iqbal, were the chief guests.

Dr. Shakeel Sadiqe spoke about the various options available in medical, engineering and allied fields and the requirements for admissions in universities and professional colleges in Pakistan.

Maqbool Ahmad Taj spoke about job opportunities in finance, commerce, accounts, business management and information technology.

Dr. Faisal urged the students to work hard and concentrate on their studies. Azad Iqbal distributed prizes among the students.

Principal of the School Mohammad Siddiq praised the PWS for organizing the seminar and giving students a guideline to plan their carrier.

Another seminar was held at the Pakistan International School, Taif, which was attended by a large number of students, their parents and teachers.

Chairman of the School Management Committee Ghulam Mohammad Joya and schoolteacher Saghir Ahmad spoke on the occasion and answered questions from the audience. School’s principal Saifur Rehman also spoke. Iqbal Ahmad Bhatti conducted the program.
