CAIRO — A Saudi student paid his Egyptian classmate to travel to Saudi Arabia and take a Qur’an exam on his behalf. The pair struck up a friendship when they were studying together at a university in Egypt and the Saudi offered his friend a little extra money if he would travel to Saudi Arabia and sit the exam for him. The Egyptian student, who had memorized the entire Qur’an by heart, gladly accepted the offer and took a crash course to master the Saudi dialect. He should have also taken a course on how to dress like a Saudi. When the man showed up to take the exam, Saudi security guards grew suspicious of his attire and took him aside for questioning. It didn’t take long before the man revealed his true identity. Evidently, he must have gotten a dressing down for his antics.
