Saudi Desalination Team to Visit Japan

JEDDAH, 6 March 2008 — A 14-member water desalination mission, including six from Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), will visit Japan from March 8-16. The mission, organized by Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East and Japan Water Desk, will attend lectures on advanced technology for desalination and also visit several firms.

JCCME is subsidizing 50 percent of the mission’s expenses for this trip. The mission includes Riyad Fadel Ossman, executive manager of Jeddah-based Al-Sehar Group; Cheriya Malikakkal Muneer, director, business development of Bahrain-based Abdulla Rashid Dossary and Partner Co., Kinaz Al-Ashkar and Fikret Ensari of Jeddah-based Al Manrasem for Construction and Development Co. Ltd.; Hamed Shakir H. Al Mobled and Nashat Shaker H. Al Mobaed, chairman and vice chairman respectively of Riyadh-based Trolley Carriage & Iron Works Factory Co. Ltd.; Abdulgafar Mohammed Jameel Jamjoom, chairman and CEO of Jeddah-based Jamjoom Company for Commerce and Industry Ltd.; Ashraf Neelamba, manager of Jeddah-based Al Hassaniah Commercial Corporation; and SWCC’s Saleh Mohammed S. Al Sahhar, Ehab Sadek A. Taha, Abdulgader Abdulaziz A. Maghrabi, Mazen A. Al Quraishi, Fahad Mohammed H. Al Muhaizie and Abdulrahman Mohammed A. Al-Arifi.
