Pak Comedian Due Next Week

JEDDAH, 27 March 2008 — Umar Sharif, an ace Pakistani comedian and actor, and Naeem Abbas Rufi, a popular pop singer will be arriving in the Kingdom next week to perform Umrah. A grand reception has been planned for them by “The Rhythm Creators,” a musical organization. Sharif won Nigar Award as best actor, director and writer for his film “Mr. 420” in 1992. The movie won eight Nigar Awards in all. Sharif also won Nigar Award for best actor in the film “Mr. Charlie” in 1993. Sharif commands much respect and love for his exuberant acting and fabulous comedy.
