RIYADH, 9 April 2008 — Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, received at his office a Polish delegation headed by Bogdan Borusewicz, speaker of the Polish Senate on Sunday. Members of the delegation included Senator Leon Kieres, chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Senate; Senator Tomaz Misiak, chairman of the National Economy Committee of the Senate; and Eugeniusz Postolski, Deputy Minister of Economy responsible for Energy Issues. The delegation was accompanied by Adam Kulach, Polish ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting began with Borusewicz thanking Prince Alwaleed for the meeting and conveying him warm regards from the government and people of Poland.
Among the issues discussed were investment opportunities available in Poland. Prince Alwaleed welcomed the idea of investing in Poland and said that it would strengthen economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Poland.
