Insan Meeting to Honor Supporters

RIYADH, 26 April 2008 — Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), who is also the chairman of the executive committee of the Saudi Society for the Care of Orphans (Insan), will attend a meeting to honor the supporters of the educational, rehabilitation, and health and cultural programs organized by Insan on Monday, according to Saleh Al-Yusuf, director general of Insan, Saudi Press Agency reported yesterday.

Insan was able to send 22 orphans to Australia, Britain and Canada to complete their studies with the help of the Ministry of Higher Education, Al-Yusuf said. They attend programs on computer, medicine, engineering and business administration. Insan aims to send 25 orphans in its second group.

Another 72 Insan beneficiaries have joined various training and learning programs in the Kingdom. The society also helped 480 orphan boys and girls and widows to perform Haj.

It organized 600 amusement, cultural and social programs for orphans and their families last year.
