TABUK: A group of beggars in Tabuk attacked each other in a brawl that blocked traffic on a major street here. Passersby say that the beggars all showed up at the busy intersection and began arguing over who had the right to beg there. The verbal argument eventually turned into physical blows, Okaz reported yesterday. Police were called to stop the brawling beggars and upon hearing police sirens, they quickly dispersed and fled the area. Traffic resumed as normal and no arrests were made.

Honesty is definitely not their best policy

JEDDAH: University students sitting for a general science exam at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) were surprised when their lecturer handed them the answer sheet for the exam, Okaz reported yesterday. The students, all male, were divided into two sections — A and B. Students in Section A were handed the exam and students in Section B were handed the exam along with the answers. Each Section B student thought that he was the only one to receive the answer sheet and instead of notifying the lecturer, each one began copying the answers to the questions. It was only minutes before the exam ended that the lecturer discovered his mistake. The university administration immediately canceled the exam and has set new timings for the Section B students to take the exam. No action is being taken against the students.
