JEDDAH: President of Bosnia-Herzegovina Haris Silajd ic thanked Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Foundation (KF), during a telephone conversation for his recent donation of SR2 million (338,800 euros) through KF. The donation was to help support the "sustainable return of refugees in Bosnia-Herzegovina" through the construction of roads.
Prince Alwaleed responded to a proposal for support that was submitted by the Office of the President Silajd ic. The specific mission of the project is to construct six vital roads in the North-East of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the return of refugees to create conditions for sustainable return and attract new refugees to return to their pre-war homes. The implementing arm for the project is the Bosnia Bank International (BBI).
