JEDDAH: The Savola Group signed an agreement with Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) here on Saturday night to launch its retail academy with branches across Saudi Arabia.
The academy will offer certificate and diploma courses to Saudis with the aim of imparting skills in retailing.
“Initially we will enroll at the academy 2,000 to 3,000 Saudis a year and will subsequently increase its number to 5,000,” Muhammad Amin Kashgari, CEO, retail, real estate and packaging divisions of Savola Group, told Arab News on the sidelines of the agreement signing ceremony at the group’s Hyper Panda at Roshan Mall.
Sami M. Baroum, managing director of the Savola Group and TVTC Gov. Ali Nassar signed the agreement.
