Medical admissions for NRI students

JEDDAH: Jhalawar Medical College in Rajasthan offers 15 percent seats for NRI students for the 2008-2009 academic season, the Consulate General of India said in a press release yesterday. Candidates must have passed 10+2 senior secondary examination of the Indian school certificate examination or equivalent examination or acquired qualification that is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12-year study. The last two years of study should comprise physics, chemistry, biology and English. The application form can be obtained from Dr. M.L. Jain, director RCH, Swasthya Bhawan, Tilak Marg, C-Scheme, Jaipur 302004 (Tel. No. 0141-2228707) on payment of 100 Indian rupees by cash/postal order/demand draft in favor of Jhalawar Hospital and Medical Society, Jhalawar, or can be downloaded from website: rajswasthya.nic.in. Last date for receipt of applications is Aug. 14, 2008.
