JEDDAH: Jhalawar Medical College in Rajasthan offers 15 percent seats for NRI students for the 2008-2009 academic season, the Consulate General of India said in a press release yesterday. Candidates must have passed 10+2 senior secondary examination of the Indian school certificate examination or equivalent examination or acquired qualification that is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12-year study. The last two years of study should comprise physics, chemistry, biology and English. The application form can be obtained from Dr. M.L. No. 0141-2228707) on payment of 100 Indian rupees by cash/postal order/demand draft in favor of Jhalawar Hospital and Medical Society, Jhalawar, or can be downloaded from website: rajswasthya.nic.in. Last date for receipt of applications is Aug. 14, 2008.
