MUMBAI: Twenty-two Muslim organizations in a joint statement issued yesterday held militant Hindu group Sangh Pariwar consisting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) responsible for the recent blasts in Gujarat and Delhi.
The spate of recent blasts had its echo in Mumbai when several Muslim organizations in the statement said that the Indian Mujahedeen is a fictitious entity and alleged that the Sangh Pariwar was responsible for the blasts and said their role must be examined by the investigative agencies.
“We have to look into the issue as to who gains political mileage out of it. Definitely, it is Sangh Pariwar, which is getting mileage and hence the needle of suspicion goes toward it,” said Sarfaraz Arzoo, noted Urdu journalist and member of All-India Milli Council.
“We hereby challenge the so-called Indian Mujahedeen to come out in the open and prove that they are representatives and spokesmen of the Ummah and justify their actions point by point or else it will be eventually surmised that they are non-persons and nothing but figment of Sangh Pariwar’s unscrupulous imagination, brought into the collective psyche of all Indians by the grand alliance of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad and their protagonists.”
The statement also said “Muslims cannot continue to be silent spectators and are ready to play a historic role in the revitalization of Indian ethos.”
Maulana Hafiz Syed Athar Ali of All-India Ulema Association said: “There is nothing like Indian Mujahedeen. Our religious sentiments are being hurt. Examine the role of the Hindu militant organizations and also of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).”
He said after the Ahmedabad blasts American national Kenneth Haywood came under suspicion. However, his passport was not impounded and was allowed to go to the United States. “Haywood went there, destroyed evidence and came back,” he alleged.
The statement further said that the blasts had resulted in progressive polarization of India and hastened the speed of marginalization of the Muslims, which eventually will result in rich dividends to Sangh Pariwar.
“This is something, which they have always dreamt of but never achieved. With Indian Mujahedeen in their kitty, their job is getting easier,” they said.
